This column concrete calculator finds the concrete fill volume for round or square columns. Enter the column size and height above to get the volume needed.

Formulas

Square column: V = side² × height
Round column:  V = (π ÷ 4) × D² × height

Example

0.3 m × 0.3 m square, 3 m tall: V = 0.3² × 3 = 0.27 m³. A round 0.3 m column of the same height needs 0.21 m³.
